Ceremony of Paying Respect to Elderly Photo-artists

Dear members,
Yesterday, MPS held Ceremony of Paying Respect to Elderly Photo-Artists successfully.
U Maung Maung Gyi, Hon.FMPS,Hon.MPS, U Maung Maung Tin, Hon.FMPS,Hon.MPS, U Pe Khin,Hon.FMPS,Hon.MPS, U Than(Trade),Hon.MPS, U Yangon Win Pe, Hon.MPS,were the hournable elderly photo-artists who supported MPS for a long time.(Only U Mg Mg Gyi could not attend due to his health.)
After that MPS continued the MPS Training No.(34) Ending Ceremony and presented prizes, and certificates to the trainees.

MPS Outdoor for Nov'05: Bagan Trip

Dear members,
Our MPS outdoor trip to Bagan has successfully finished.
Total 37 members including Patron U Pe Khin were paticipated in this trip. MPS EC arranged 2 photo events for members and all members were participated in Shwe Sigon Pagoda festival's morning alms donation on Tan Zaung Mone fullmoon day.And returned Yangon in evening of that day.

MPS Photographic Workshop No.(1)

Dear members,

MPS will arrange a photo workshop on" Digital Photography Basic" topic.
U Zaw Myint( Nagoya), U Moe Min(Rays)Hon.MPS,AMPS,FMPS,ARPS,APSS and U Pe Myint Oo Hon.MPS,AMPS,FMPS will discuss about that topic.

Place: MPS Office Hall(No.27/29),35th Street(Lower Block), Kyauk Tada TS, Yangon.
Date: 6th Nov 2005 Sunday
Time: 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Fees: MPS members: 1,000 kyats
Non-members: 1,500 kyats

UPDATED: Our workshop has been completed successfully. Totally 65 participants were attended and Honourable guests such as Patron U Pe Khin, Hon.FMPS,Hon.MPS, Tekkatho Kyaw Sein, Hon.MPS, Artist U Lun Kyawe & wife Daw Lun Mya Mya, were also participated in this event.

42nd All Myanmar Photo Competition Prizes

Dear members,
This year, we,EC members got an idea to change the type of the prizes of MPS All Myanmar Competition. For all the categories, the prizes are as follows;
1st Prize 100,000 kyats
2nd Prize 75,000 kyats
3rd Prize 50,000 kyats
Accept #1 35,000 kyats
Accept #2 20,000 kyats
Accept #3 20,000 kyats Total 300,000 kyats for EACH CATEGORY, plus high quality medals & certificates.

For Best Photgrapher of the Year award, The Mayor of Yanogn City sponsored 100,000 kyats and The Big Camera Ltd.(Nikon Agent) sponsored 300,000 kyats also. (Nikon also sponsored 300,000 kyats for Digital Enhanced cat.) So this year's competition will be very interesting.Another sponsor is Ko Khwar Nee & Ko Wunna Khwar Nee who will pay 300,000 kyats for "Portraiture" Cat.(We will announce all the sponsors in our next bulletin!). We also invited the two great photographers from Mandalay(Sayar Gyi U Chit Wein & Dr. Mg Mg Gyi(Medical-Mann) for judging. So Members.... Pls try your best to get these wonderful prizes.

MPS Training Course(34) Results

Dear Trainnes,

Today, MPS will announce examination results for Training Course No.(34) at MPS office.
Total No. of 74 trainnes are passed and we will invite all the trainnes to the Ending Ceremony of Training No.(34)which will held together with Ceremony of paying respect to Elderly Photographic Artists,on 20th Nov 2005 Sunday.
We will also present Training Certificates to those whose attendent % was atlease 75%.

Return on: 15 Nov 05 Tuesday(Tansaung Mone Fullmoon Night )
Cost per person: 14000 kyats for round trip(Transportation only)
Accomodation: self-arrangement
(MPS EC will arrange a monestry and make reservations for guest house for those who don't have other arrangements)
UPDATE: We have made reservation for a 4 star hotel @ Old Bagan at a very resonable price.(Only got (10 D'ble rooms) so please deposit the room charges as soon as possible.)
(On 13th Nov MPS EC will set up an event to take photos with the help of Bagan Maung Maung)

OUR TRIP ARRANGEMENTS ARE LIMITED TO 25 PERSONS ONLY. SO PLS ENROLL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.(Now The list exceeds up to 31 person, so we try to get more seats on the bus.)

For Trainnes's photo contest, MPS will allow open contest under the title of " Ah Hlu Darna Pyu Kya Thu Ngar" so no need to parcipate in Bagan Trip.
